ATLANTA, GA – The LPGA has announced that SeatGeek will begin operating as the association’s official ticketing platform following a competitive bid process managed by The Aspire Group (Aspire). SeatGeek will be used across domestic LPGA events to optimize fan access via ticket sales, ground passes, and hospitality offerings.

Aspire, an industry expert in ticketing solutions, operated as a neutral consultant throughout the months-long RFP process: drafting solicitation materials, responding to vendor questions, judging bids with like for like comparison tables, collaborating on contract term negotiations, and assisting with implementation. Senior Aspire staff also led the recruiting and interview processes for the Director of Ticketing role required to manage this newly centralized platform.

“Thank you to the LPGA for entrusting Aspire to guide this tremendous decision,” said Aspire Senior Vice President of Strategy and Operations, Chad Cardinal. “Because of our tenure in the industry, the diversity of our partner base, and our lack of vendor-bias, Aspire is uniquely equipped to help sport & entertainment properties find the technology that best fits their needs. We’ve seen and worked with it all, and it is that experience that makes us so confident in the success the LPGA is set to achieve with SeatGeek on board.”

“The LPGA is thrilled to be partnering with a ticketing solutions provider that aligns so well with our strategic direction,” said Matt Chmura, LPGA Chief Marketing, Communications and Brand Officer. “SeatGeek scored well across the key categories we laid out with Aspire, such as data access, marketing functionality, and CRM architecture, but it was their focus on fan accessibility and passion for diving into our business that has us really excited about our future together.”
