As Vice President of Fan Relationship Management Centers (FRMC), Chad’s top priorities include partner achievement, personal and professional development of direct reports, and impacting the bottom line in a sustainable fashion.

Cardinal joined The Aspire Group in 2015 and has become known for staff retention, long-term thinking, and a relationship-driven approach. Noteworthy achievements during his time with the Aspire F.A.M.I.L.Y. include the promotion of dozens of direct reports, delivering over 110 hours of Raise Your Game training and him being the only 2x Aspire Retreat MVP.

In advance of joining Aspire, Chad was fortunate to serve as the Ticket Sales Manager for the Boston Bruins & TD Garden for four seasons.  Responsibilities included oversight of several ticket & premium products for the Bruins, Celtics & arena events, which totaled north of $85M annually. Another leadership role included two seasons as the Senior Manager of Ticket Sales with Sporting Kansas City of MLS. Here he acquired unique experience as the team rebranded and moved into a new soccer-specific stadium during his tenure.  As an individual sales contributor for the Minnesota Timberwolves & Lynx, Chad was twice in the Top 15 league-wide as a revenue producer.

Originally from Brooklyn Park, MN, Chad was a student-athlete (baseball) and graduated from Mayville State University with a degree in Exercise Science & Sports Management, minor in Coaching & certificate in Information Technology. He is also a graduate of the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management (MBA).

Outside of Aspire, Chad is a Professor at the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management. Here he teaches Leadership and Personal Development courses to master’s students, including an international cohort headquartered in China.

Chad, his wife, Katie, and their daughter, Emery, live in Los Gatos, CA.
