ATLANTA, GA – After 16 unprecedented months in the sports and entertainment vertical, collegiate, and professional sports properties are turning to The Aspire Group to help welcome fans back to their venues, communicate effectively with current clients and prospects, achieve attendance and revenue goals, and efficiently ramp up operations.

From March 2020 through December 2020, amid a global pandemic, Aspire’s innovation and dedication to creating lifelong fans protected partners’ bottom line significantly. Aspire partners’ aggregate profit margin during this period was 69%, as sales and service staffs drove more than $11M in new gifts through season ticket to donation conversions and repurposed an additional $40M via ticket credit rollovers.

Aspire kickstarted the conversation around return to venue strategies in the fall of 2020 with an award-winning survey of over 6,000 sports fans. Since then, perceptions have changed significantly, and the industry’s needs have shifted from service and retention to proactive sales and win-back conversations.

In the past six months, Aspire has formed an industry-leading 14 new partnerships across MLB and NCAA, while consultants have made more than 250K calls, selling 127K tickets and generating over $8M. These metrics have kept pace with pre-pandemic figures and highlight the return of the live event industry.

“Aspire has shown tremendous growth in the past six months, adding marquee properties and establishing a master data management partnership to provide a best-in-class solution at a price point colleges and universities can afford.

Aspire has shifted into additional revenue-generating capabilities and leaned into development through stand-alone donations. We appreciate our partners’ hard work and support as we come out of an unprecedented period in sport and entertainment and are especially grateful to the six partners who have extended their agreements with us in 2021.

Most importantly, we thank our dedicated leaders and staff who continue to show just how much they care for their properties and fanbases, and further demonstrate the ‘Aspire Difference’” said Bernie Mullin, Aspire Founder and Chairman.

The Aspire Group is committed to supporting its partners and the wider sports and entertainment industry through next practice development in ticketing, development, sponsorship, and fan research.
