ATLANTA – (April 20, 2021) – The YMCA of Greater Charlotte (The Y), Six Degrees Analytics (SDA), and The Aspire Sport Marketing Group (Aspire) have announced a partnership to drive membership renewals through targeted marketing and sales support.

Aspire will prioritize lapsed membership leads using recency, frequency, and monetary value analysis and will work with Six Degrees Analytics to create a personalized and targeted messaging cadence across Y membership levels. Both Aspire and Six Degrees Analytics have generated a considerable return on investment for their partners with digital prequalification campaigns. Aspire recently completed a four-month, 750,000 email sales campaign, using open and click-through rates to maximize sales of nearly $500,000 for the client.

“We’re excited to partner with Six Degrees and Aspire as we rebuild our membership and look for new ways to engage our customers in this ‘new normal’,” said Omoiye O. Kinney, senior vice president of marketing and technology for YMCA of Greater Charlotte. “We lost more than half of our membership base over the past year, and now is the time to explore new strategies to invite our members back through our doors.”

“The YMCA represents distinction in health and wellness and an unrivaled commitment to the Charlotte Region,” stated Tom Grabowski, Six Degrees founder and CEO. “Their pledge and assurance to the community regardless of circumstance is exemplary. Being a Charlotte YMCA member over the last 25 years and serving in different capacities, I am inspired to play an integral role in this initiative. Six Degrees’ extensive experience in health and wellness, participatory sports, and college athletics aligns well with the YMCA’s mission.”

“Having served on the YMCA board in Atlanta, Denver, New York, and Pittsburgh, I am especially pleased with our new partnership with YMCA of Greater Charlotte,” said Bernie Mullin, Aspire’s founder and chairman. “This represents an intentional pivot in Aspire’s strategy to support participant sports and health organizations at the same superb level of marketing, sales, and service operations that we have done throughout our history with spectator sports.”

The YMCA of Greater Charlotte will join a number of Aspire-supported non-profits, including Special Olympics Southern California, Soccer in the Streets, and Sport at the Service of Humanity.
