ATLANTA – (August 8, 2011) – The Aspire Group is on track to begin selling on behalf of Western Michigan Athletics in the next week. The custom built Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) is located on WMU’s campus in the Seelye Athletic Center. The operation will have a sales manager and five sales consultants dedicated to building relationships with Western Michigan alumni and supporters through outbound sales calls.

“The Aspire Group’s expertise in ticket marketing and sales is demonstrated by their proven track record of success,” said Bob D’Amelio, Assistant Athletic Director Sport Marketing Media Relations & Trademark Licensing. “Partnering with Aspire and adopting the FRMC model will be the most effective way for us to increase ticket revenue and attendance for WMU Athletics.  I look forward to a long standing relationship with Bernie Mullin and Bill Fagan.”

The Aspire Group has hired Patrick Foley as the FRMC Manager for Western Michigan. Before joining Aspire, Foley contributed to the sales effort that was responsible for collecting over $500 million dollars in seat license revenue for the Dallas Cowboy’s (NFL) new stadium.  Foley has an extensive sports sales background, previously working as a sales consultant for the Cowboys, as a corporate group executive for the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) and an inside sales representative for the Los Angeles Clippers (NBA)

“I am thrilled to be a part of The Aspire Group family and be amongst leaders in the sport industry,” said Foley, FRMC Manager for Western Michigan University. “My number one priority since arriving in Kalamazoo has been to hire an excellent and ambitious sales staff. Having the knowledge and expertise of Bill Fagan and the FRMC management team behind me is an invaluable asset.”

Western Michigan is one of ten NCAA Division I schools to have partnered with The Aspire Group for their proprietary FRMC model, joining Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Maryland, Louisiana Tech, Buffalo, Army, Florida International, Memphis, and Tulane.
