Western Michigan to Partner with Aspire for Ticket Marketing and Sales

ATLANTA – (June 22, 2011) – Western Michigan University, a NCAA Division-I school operating in the Mid-American Conference and Central Collegiate Hockey Association, has announced a partnership with The Aspire Group to market and sell tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball and men’s hockey. Aspire will be selling Western Michigan Broncos tickets out of an on-site Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) located centrally on the Western Michigan campus that will consist of one manager and five sales consultants plus up to two interns.


“The Aspire Group’s expertise in ticket marketing and sales is demonstrated by their proven track record of success,” stated Bob D’Amelio, Assistant Athletic Director Sport Marketing Media Relations & Trademark Licensing. “Partnering with Aspire and adopting the FRMC model is the most effective way for increasing ticket revenue and attendance for Western Michigan athletics.”


Western Michigan’s Fan Relationship Management Center will be responsible for developing relationships with Bronco fans and delivering a superb customer experience.  The on-site manager will report jointly to Aspire and WMU administrators while overseeing day-to-day operations and continually developing the sales program.
