The Blazer FRMC (Fan Relationship Management Center) has been launched to assist UAB Athletics in an effort to attain increased ticket sales, revenue and attendance for football and men’s basketball.

The center is located on campus within the athletic department and consists of a manager and five sales consultants. The goal for the UAB FRMC of increasing ticket sales will be achieved by outbound calls and providing outstanding customer service for fans.  The group intends to create life-long relationships with UAB fans and attract new fans to the fold.

“We are excited to partner with The Aspire Group,” said UAB Director of Athletics Brian Mackin.  “They have a successful track record with other college athletic programs and the NCAA, and we are confident they will build on the momentum of increased ticket sales we have already experienced since the hiring of Garrick McGee and Jerod Haase.”

The center will be managed by Rick Coller, who began his career three years ago as a Sales Consultant for The Aspire Group working at the Georgia Tech FRMC. Most recently, he was the Team Leader for the NCAA FRMC, a campaign that spanned eight months and generated almost $500,000 in ticket sales for several NCAA Championships.

“I’m looking forward to using my experience, along with that of my staff and the UAB athletic department, to develop this FRMC into one of the best in country,” said Coller.

“We look forward to working with Brian Mackin and his entire staff at UAB Athletics to ensure this partnership reaches its full potential,” said Bill Fagan, Vice President and General Manager of Fan Relationship Management at The Aspire Group, “UAB is a strong brand and has achieved significant success in the past, and we are excited to help extend the reach of this quality athletic program all across the Southeast region.”
