Tulane Athletics Partners with The Aspire Group to Build Fan Relationship Management Center to Drive Revenue Growth
July 28, 2011
ATLANTA – (July 28, 2011) –Tulane University, an NCAA Division-I school operating in Conference USA, has announced a multi-year partnership with The Aspire Group to market and sell tickets for football, men’s and women’s basketball and baseball. The 2011-2012 season will mark Tulane’s return to a 16-sport total program since the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
“2011-12 signals the start of a new era for Tulane Athletics and it’s the right time to enhance our outreach and customer service efforts both within the local community and with our supporters across the region and country,” said Rick Dickson, Director of Athletics. “Partnering with Aspire will allow us to capitalize on this momentum by building relationships with more Green Wave fans than we would have been able to on our own.”
Aspire will construct a Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) on campus in New Orleans. Aspire’s FRMC model maximizes ticket sales revenue by synchronizing direct marketing strategies including Customer Relationship Management/Database Management and intelligent e-marketing program support. The FRMC will be led by a manager and five sales consultants dedicated to developing relationships with Tulane fans and alumni through superb customer service on ticket sales and service calls.
“We are thrilled to be on board with Tulane Athletics as our tenth collegiate FRMC partner,” says Bill Fagan, General Manager of Fan Relationship Management. “As we prep to be on-site in early September, our first priority is to hire outstanding talent. These professionals will provide a proactive sales and service face in the community of New Orleans driving ticket sales results for Tulane Athletics.”
Tulane University is one of ten NCAA Division I schools to have partnered with The Aspire Group, joining Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Maryland, Louisiana Tech, Buffalo, Army, Western Michigan, Florida International, and Memphis.
