ATLANTA, GA – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and The Aspire Group (Aspire) have announced a ticket sales and service partnership to support the conference’s 2022 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships. The sales campaign will operate out of Aspire’s National Sales Center (NSC) in Atlanta, GA, which has generated more than $14M in revenue for 60 professional and collegiate partners. Aspire’s marketing and data insights departments will assist in the campaign by providing lead generation and digital prequalification email campaigns, with a focus on group sales to K-12 schools in the Mid-Atlantic region.

“The MAAC will benefit greatly from its partnership with Aspire as the conference returns to Atlantic City for its 2022 Hercules Tires Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships this coming March,” notes Rich Ensor, MAAC Commissioner. “As an industry leader in ticket sales strategies, the MAAC looks for the Aspire team to energize the MAAC’s group ticket operations in the post-COVID pandemic environment. The MAAC has a great product to sell, athletes who achieve on the court and in the classroom, and we want to engage a wider audience to attend the championships and enjoy MAAC basketball as teams compete for bids to NCAA March Madness.”

“Once again, we look forward to hosting the MAAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships,” said Spectra’s Jim McDonald, General Manager of Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. “We are excited to partner with The Aspire Group as we prepare for the 2022 tournament.”

“We are honored to represent the MAAC and welcome fans back to the Women’s and Men’s Basketball championships in 2022. Partnering with the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall leadership team and the MAAC member institutions will enable us to invite many groups out to experience championship basketball and everything Atlantic City has to offer,” stated Bill Fagan, CEO of The Aspire Group.

Aspire has supported the MAAC’s Volleyball, Swimming, and Diving championships in the past and will play a vital role in bringing fans to the MAAC Basketball championships at the historic Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
