ATLANTA – (June 2, 2011) -The Aspire Group and Louisiana Tech University have announced an agreement for the Atlanta-based company to sell a full menu of ticket options for football, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball. The Aspire Group will construct a Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) on campus in Ruston, Louisiana with a manager and up to six sales consultants devoted to selling and servicing Louisiana Tech Athletics ticket buyers.

“Through this partnership with The Aspire Group, we believe we gain the outside support and expertise necessary to increase outreach, ticket sales and enhance revenue,” said Louisiana Tech Athletics Director Bruce Van De Velde.  “Our strategy is to identify and implement strategic partnerships that maximize revenue streams and increase outreach but at the same time control costs.”

“We believe we have great potential to increase ticket sales with 45,000 alumni in the state and partnering with The Aspire Group will help us reach our goal of selling every seat in our athletic facilities,” said Louisiana Tech Athletics Director Bruce Van De Velde.

“We are excited for this opportunity to work with experts in the athletic ticket sales and marketing field,” said Associate Athletics Director of External Affairs Eric Buskirk. “We want to show the LA Tech Nation our appreciation by delivering a service that will give them a personal ticket sales representative and a Fan Relationship Management Center that will service their needs.”

The Aspire Group develops Fan Relationship Management Centers (FRMC) specializing in revenue enhancement for universities and sports organizations worldwide by providing a superb customer experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls. Aspire has been servicing fans at Georgia Tech for nearly two years and the University of Colorado-Boulder for nine months. Aspire has recently opened a Fan Relationship Management Center at Rutgers University.

Louisiana Tech FRMC will be managed by Ryan Gottlieb who began his career with the Aspire Group in the Georgia Tech FRMC in August 2009. During his time with Aspire, Ryan has been a top revenue producer in Georgia Tech Men’s Basketball season ticket sales as well as Football season ticket sales. Ryan also assisted in hiring, training and mentoring team members during his productive time at Georgia Tech FRMC.

“We are excited to work with LA Tech’s athletic administration and help them reach their ticket revenue goals,” said Aspire’s General Manager of Fan Relationship Management Bill Fagan. “Our Fan Relationship Management Center will provide Louisiana Tech a new way to show how much they appreciate the Bulldog fans and their support for Louisiana Tech athletics.”
