CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and The Aspire Group have reached an agreement to boost Islanders basketball ticket sales headed into the 2017-18 season.

The agreement will provide the Islanders with extra manpower to facilitate ticket sales and create the best home court advantage in the Southland Conference.

“Our basketball programs are both coming off deep postseason runs,” said Director of Athletics Scott Lazenby. “Our men’s program is fresh off the deepest postseason run in program and conference history while the women reached the Southland semifinals. We want to ensure we create the best home court advantage possible while also making it as easy as possible for fans to support the Islanders.”

Aspire will dedicate a staff member to assist the Islanders ticketing department and provide Islanders fans with outstanding customer service. Aspire will also be providing the Islanders with intelligent e-marketing to compliment the efforts of the sales staff to optimize efficiency, engagement, and reach.

A proven commodity in the collegiate athletics realm, Aspire has a long-standing track record of growing ticket sales for partners. The agreement between Corpus Christi and Aspire will bring the group in on a seasonal basis for basketball season.
