Harvard Athletics signs multi-year renewal with Aspire

ATLANTA, GA – The Aspire Sport Marketing Group announced today a multi-year extension with the Harvard Department of Athletics for its outsourced ticket sales contract that began in July 2015.

Aspire’s on-campus Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) is managed by John Rivers and responsible for outbound new sales for all Crimson’s ticketed sports.

“We are pleased and excited to continue our relationship with The Aspire Group,” stated Nick Majocha, Assistant Athletic Director for Harvard Athletics. “Aspire’s goals and initiatives are aimed at helping us broaden our outreach efforts and introducing more fans to Harvard Athletics while providing superior customer service to our dedicated supporters.”

With the main responsibility of producing new ticket sales, the FRMC has achieved the following since inception:

  • Triple-digit group ticket revenue growth for football (138%), men’s basketball (197%), and men’s hockey (120%).
  • Double to triple-digit growth in group tickets sold for football (254%), men’s basketball (147%), and men’s hockey (80%).
  • Increased football season tickets sold and revenue by 241% and 212%, respectively.
  • Increased men’s hockey season tickets sold and revenue by 433% and 443%, respectively.
  • Increased women’s basketball total revenue by 2281%.
  • Increased women’s hockey total revenue by 172%.
  • Increased single-game tickets sold and revenue across football, men’s basketball and men’s hockey by 297% and 324%, respectively.
