Georgia Tech Athletics first to launch Aspire’s A-Cube
May 1, 2017
(ATLANTA, GA) – The Aspire Sport Marketing Group and Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) announced an expansion to its existing 8-year partnership to build a customized A-Cube for Georgia Tech (GT-Cube), the first of its kind in the sports and entertainment industry. The Aspire A-Cube is a cutting-edge data aggregation platform that facilitates intelligent marketing and produces data insights to maximize ticket sales revenues and attendance.
“As the modern-day fan evolves, it’s critical that we market Georgia Tech in a manner that puts the right message, in front of the right supporter, through the most effective channel, said Rick Thorpe, Associate Athletic Director of Sales & Fan Experience for Georgia Tech. The GT-Cube’s core business intelligence capabilities will fundamentally enhance how we sell tickets, identify new donors and impact all revenue streams.”
The platform gathers and analyzes internal data points from digital activities and behaviors to create a robust, dynamic profile for each current and future Georgia Tech fan. The GT-Cube learns from consumer preferences and behaviors, delivering the most relevant, targeted messages to increase conversions. By continuously collecting real-time data on visitors across all of Georgia Tech’s digital platforms, the GT-Cube optimizes lead generation efforts while providing actionable insights surrounding fans interest level to enhance future sales, marketing and development efforts.
“A cutting-edge program such as Georgia Tech takes immense pride in embracing technologies to better serve its fan base,” said Bill Fagan, Chief Operating Officer for The Aspire Group. “With this partnership and implementation of the A-Cube, Georgia Tech will have a 360-degree view of each potential and current fan allowing them to optimize real-time engagement and capitalize on purchase intent.”
As one of the most innovative programs in collegiate athletics, GTAA was the first to outsource its ticketing to Aspire in 2009 and is the first to launch Aspire’s A-Cube. Since inception, GTAA’s Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMCSM) has generated over $14.1 million in new ticket & related donation revenue.
