EMU Ticket Sales Soar Following Partnership With The Aspire Group

In July 2015, Eastern Michigan University (EMU) Athletics partnered with The Aspire Group to enhance ticket sales and service efforts through an on-site Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) that provides top-of-the-line customer service to Eagle fans. One year into the partnership, the EMU FRMC has increased the number of football season tickets sold by 100% compared to 2014, reaching an all-time record high in football season ticket sales.

“Since partnering with The Aspire Group we have seen the fruits of their hustle. We are proud to say that we have substantial increases in season tickets and revenue in just over a year,” said Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing and Fan Experience at EMU, Tony Orlando. “The Aspire Group has also brought to Eastern Michigan intangibles such as superior customer service and a great sales team that has allowed us to achieve and exceed these goals in a quick timeframe. The sky is the limit as we continue to build a first class ticket sales and service department.”

When comparing the first three home football games of the season from 2015 to 2016, there was a 30% increase in overall ticket revenue and the average attendance per game is up 57%. The success is apparent, and the results of this partnership are showing in extremely positive ways.

“Our primary responsibility is to serve the EMU fan, in full alignment with the rest of the Athletics staff community.  The attendance growth has been great, but this is just the beginning as we continue to support EMU fans for life,” said Chief Operating Officer of The Aspire Group, Bill Fagan.

While there has been a tremendous amount of success with the football program, it doesn’t stop there. The EMU FRMC oversees ticket sales & service for the men’s and women’s basketball teams, wrestling, volleyball, and gymnastics as well, and is producing positive results that have been seen in football.
