Atlanta-based The Aspire Group announced today that they are partnering with the Ottawa 67’s of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) to service and sell tickets for the major junior hockey club that plays in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The Aspire Group will handle all inbound and outbound sales efforts at the Ottawa Fan Relationship Management Center which is located at the team’s offices at Lansdowne Park. The 67’s Fan Relationship Management Center will be in full operation effective February 22nd.

“The Aspire Group’s Principals and Associates are the most experienced professionals I have encountered in ticket sales management and maximizing customer service,” said Patt Whalen, President and CEO of the Ottawa 67’s. “This will give our fans a level of personal attention and resources that we were not previously able to provide, and it will provide our organization with direct feedback on our business from the people who matter most, our fans.”

The operation will be managed by Darren Arnold, a Hamilton, Ontario native who is a 5 year veteran of selling and managing ticket sales operations in professional team sports. Darren was most recently Assistant Manager-Ticket Sales and Service with the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB). In addition to his ticket sales experience, Darren assisted the Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) with their Media Relations, the Canadian Football Hall of Fame with Sponsors hip Retention and the Medicine Hat Blue Jays (Rookie) with their Sales and Communications. Arnold will be jointly directed by The Aspire Group’s General Manager, Bill Fagan, and 67’s management.

“The Aspire Group is committed to being a leading force globally in building long-lasting relationships with fans by providing a level of personal service rarely provided at most professional teams,” says Bill Fagan, General Manager. “The partnership with the 67’s is a milestone in the growth of our company because of the strength of the Canadian Hockey market, as well as the opportunity to sell and service Ottawan’s who are Canadian Football League fans, once the new franchise is formally announced and awarded to the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group.”
