ATLANTA – (July 18, 2011) – The Army Athletic Association and The Aspire Group announced today a partnership that will offer Black Knight fans a full menu of ticket options for Army football, as well as men’s and women’s basketball, hockey and lacrosse. Aspire will build and operate a Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) consisting of a manager, five sales consultants and up to two interns, at West Point.

“The Aspire Group has demonstrated a track record of success in outsourcing athletic ticket sales operations. The outbound sales operation will extend the reach of Army athletics and build lifelong relationships with Black Knight fans,” stated Army Director of Athletics Boo Corrigan.

The Aspire Group develops Fan Relationship Management Centers specializing in revenue enhancement for universities and sports organizations by providing superb customer experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls.  The designated manager for the Army FRMC will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Center and continual development of the Army ticket sales program. Ticket operations, including fulfillment, will continue to be administered by the Army Athletic Association.

“We are thrilled to partner with Army athletics to provide an outbound sales operation through our Fan Relationship Center Model,” stated Bill Fagan, General Manager of Fan Relationship Management. “This is an opportunity for us to support Army in providing a personal relationship and platform to connect with Black Knight fans.”

The Army football team, which competes in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision as an independent, is coming off its first bowl appearance since 1996. The Black Knights defeated SMU in the 2010 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl.
