Special Olympics Southern California Partners with Aspire to Drive Donations
July 30, 2020
ATLANTA, GA – The Aspire Sport Marketing Group and Special Olympics Southern California are pleased to announce a donation and customer service-based partnership. The Aspire Group will be responsible for driving gifts and building relationships with new and current donors through Aspire’s National Sales Center (NSC) in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are excited to begin this partnership with the Aspire Sport Marketing Group,” said Special Olympics Southern California President and CEO Bill Shumard. “We look forward to developing great relationships with passionate donors who want to support Special Olympics. Our athletes will continue to benefit from free sports programming, health programs, and inclusive communities for years to come because of this partnership.”
“I grew up attending Special Olympics cheering on my uncle who competed in multiple events. I’ll never forget seeing the passion, joy, and love from all of the athletes as they competed and finished their games,” said AJ Smith, Vice President of Client Partner Development for Aspire. “It’s an honor to support SOSC and we look forward to helping provide opportunities for future athletes to compete for years to come.”
The Aspire Group is looking forward to launching the donor campaign in August 2020 to support Special Olympics Southern California’s vision to promote acceptance, inclusion, and well-being for people with intellectual disabilities through sports.
