Rutgers University to Partner with The Aspire Group on Athletic Marketing and Ticket Sales

The Aspire Group to Operate Fan Relationship Management Center On-site at Rutgers University

ATLANTA – March 22, 2011 –The Rutgers University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced a partnership with Atlanta based The Aspire Group to outsource its athletic ticket sales and service responsibilities.

“We believe that this opportunity to work with The Aspire Group will take our Athletics Ticket Sales to the next level of customer service for our fans,” stated Tim Pernetti, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics for Rutgers University.   “The Aspire Group’s model enables us to service more fans, with a much broader reach, and in a much deeper manner than we have been able to do in the past.  As we continue to build our fan base and create more lifetime members of our Scarlet Nation, this partnership significantly enhances our ability to grow essential ticket revenues and increase attendance.”

The Aspire Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) will sell and service ticket buyers for football, men’s and women’s basketball, and additional Olympic sports to be added in the near future. The Aspire Group specializes in revenue enhancement for universities and sports organizations by providing a superb customer experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls. Currently, athletic fans at the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech) and University of Colorado are served in a similar manner by The Aspire Group.
