Penn Athletics has announced a renewal with The Aspire Group, the global leader in athletic revenue enhancement, as its exclusive third-party ticket sales resource for the Penn Relays after The Aspire Group’s tremendous success last year. The agreement builds upon last year’s contract to also include remote ticket sales support for Penn Men’s Basketball. On January 11, two dedicated sales representatives out of The Aspire Group’s National Sales Center (NSC) started proactively reaching out to both existing and potential supporters of Penn Athletics to bring them out for the remainder of the men’s basketball season as well as the upcoming Penn Relays in April.

“We are delighted to expand our working relationship with the Aspire Group,” said Roger Reina, Penn’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. “In addition to the excitement surrounding Penn Relays in an Olympic year leading to the Games in Rio, adding Aspire to build on the enthusiasm surrounding the return of Head Coach Steve Donahue to Penn men’s basketball makes them the right fit at the right time.”

“We are excited to continue our partnership with Penn Athletics in providing a world-class fan experience for the Penn Relays.  Building off our success with last year’s event as well as it being an Olympic year, we are thrilled to be taking this event at historic Franklin Field to the next level in 2016,” stated Darren Arnold, Senior Director of Aspire’s National Sales Center. “Beyond the Penn Relays, we’re very eager for the opportunity to partner with Penn Athletics to sell men’s basketball ticket packages.  With the great tradition of Quakers basketball, and the passionate sports fans of Philadelphia, we know the partnership is sure to be a slam-dunk.”

The Aspire Group brings its industry-leading “Next Practices” in ticket marketing, sales and service to begin campaigning for this season’s Men’s Basketball and spearhead Penn’s flagship Penn Relays with the focus in renewing 2015 ticket accounts and creating even stronger relationships with fans for 2016.
