Valerie Wilkinson

Senior Vice President, Business Operations

Valerie is responsible for overseeing Aspire’s Finance, Compliance, Human Resources and Administrative functions. She has been involved in business management for over 30 years. Her previous positions have included Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Regional Director for Re/Max of Colorado, EVP of three Boards of Realtors in Wisconsin and Colorado, and President/ Owner of a Public Relations and Marketing firm since 1987. In each of these roles, she interfaced extensively with government agencies on all levels regarding business and finance requirements for both profit and non-profit organizations. Valerie was a frequent writer for the major Denver newspapers addressing housing issues and new home marketing and has also been heavily involved in media buying and design/placement of print ads as well as radio and TV ads.

While living in NY during the early 2000’s, Valerie worked in the Development Department for one of the nation’s largest children’s residential treatment facilities. Her role as Public Information Officer and Manager of all major fundraising events afforded her the opportunity to network with numerous Wall Street businesses, sports entities, local governments and area-wide media outlets.

Throughout the years Valerie has been involved in many charities including The Make-a-Wish Foundation where she served on the Board of Directors, Board of Governors – National Association of Realtors, Precinct Chairman – U.S. House of Representatives Campaign (CO), and Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club. Early in her career, Valerie received a Key to the City of Rochelle, IL for her work in establishing the Rochelle Enrichment Center and Meals on Wheels. She holds a B.A. degree in Merchandising from the University of Wisconsin, Steven’s Point and studied for a master’s in Communications at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
