Maryland wins FRMC of the Year

The University of Maryland Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) was honored this past weekend at Aspire’s 9th Annual Leaders Retreat by receiving the “Bernie Award.” The award is given to the FRMC based on its overall sales performance as well as its relationships within Aspire and the athletic department.

“On behalf of Maryland Athletics, we would like to congratulate the Maryland FRMC for being the top Aspire property for 2017-2018!” said Matt Monroe, Associate AD – Annual Giving and Ticket Operations at the University of Maryland. The staff has done a great job this past year with raising our revenue and the service and enhanced communication they provide to our fans continue to be a tremendous asset to our athletic program.”

“I’m extremely proud of our team at Maryland for winning this award,” said Howard Ticker, Director of Sales & Service for the Maryland FRMC. “They bring it every single day and I am so happy for them to get recognized. It was a total team effort and I can’t wait to see what we can all achieve together next year!”

“We are very excited to be able to take home this award that showcases everything that we strive for when we come in the FRMC each day, said Alec Hamm, Manager of Sales at the University of Maryland. “It is a great testament to the team we have here at Maryland.”

Led by Howard Ticker and Alec Hamm, Maryland was also recognized for leading Aspire in calls, talk time and referrals.

The FRMC has three of the top five individuals on Aspire’s company-wide hustle board for calls: Kevin Hill (1), Michael Stover (2), and Malaki Roy (5). Roy also leads the hustle board in referrals.

The FRMC was selected out of Aspire’s 40 properties nationwide.
