ATLANTA, GA – The University of Maryland Athletics Department and The Aspire Sport Marketing Group have agreed to extend their outsourced ticket sales and service contract. As part of the partnership extension, Aspire’s sales and service staff will increase their involvement with Maryland’s fundraising arm, The Terrapin Club, driving athletic development for years to come.

“Since the beginning of our partnership nearly 10 years ago, Aspire has done a tremendous job for Maryland Athletics,” states Associate AD – Annual Giving/Ticket Operations Matt Monroe. “Their service model of building relationships is highly regarded in our industry and has been well received by our fans. Adding development and fundraising responsibilities is a natural next step in our partnership and it aligns well the core values of One Maryland.”

“As one of our original FRMC partners, we are honored to extend our partnership with Maryland into its second decade,” says Bill Fagan, The Aspire Group CEO. “The Maryland Athletics Administration has entrusted us with servicing Terrapin fans and donors. We take great pride in this responsibility.”

Aspire’s Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) at the University of Maryland has been responsible for new and renewed ticket sales across all ticketed sports since 2011, driving more than $19.5M in total ticket revenue for the university since the partnership’s inception.
