Coventry City FC has partnered with The Aspire Group to sell and service tickets for the club and Ricoh Arena
ATLANTA-October 18- Coventry City FC has launched a series of new ticket products aimed at tempting lapsed supporters back to regular attendance and has contracted with The Aspire Group to operate a new Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) at the Ricoh Arena.
The Aspire FRMC will sell and service season and group tickets for the club while also handling outbound ticket sales efforts for premium seating and hospitality for the Ricoh Arena. The Aspire Group specializes in maximizing ticket sales revenue and attendance for sports organizations by providing a superb customer experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls. The Aspire Group has recently established a similar partnership in the UK with Championship team Leicester City Football Club.
Stephen Ebanks, Head of Information and Event Sales for Coventry City Football Club said, “Our partnership with The Aspire Group provides the club with the opportunity to boost our ticket sales and talk with fans on an individual basis. Aspire’s reputation and proven success in ticket sales and service management will be of great value as we look to grow our attendance and fan base.”
The Aspire Group’s (TAG’s) proprietary FRMC model is a unique way to maximize ticket sales revenue and attendance by providing a superb customer experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls.
The operation will be managed by Mike Meitin, whose responsibilities include overseeing all third-party ticket sales and service initiatives for CCFC. The primary focus relies on ticket sales revenue and growth across all sectors (premium seating: suite, clubs and hospitality, season and group tickets), customer retention and maintaining excellent customer service.
Prior to joining The Aspire Group, Meitin was the Inside Sales Manager at Kroenke Sports Enterprises which own and operate the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Avalanche (NHL), and Pepsi Center. He previously held a similar position with the Indiana Pacers (NBA) and Indiana Fever (WNBA). He will be jointly directed by The Aspire Group’s General Manager, Bill Fagan, and Ebanks.
“The Aspire Group is delighted to add Coventry City Football Club to our diverse and ever growing client base,” said Fagan. “We are all very excited about the potential of offering “Next-Practices” to English Football and the European market, which we believe has excellent upside potential for our business.”
