Michael Farris

Director of Strategic Consulting & Research

As Director of Strategic Consulting and Research, Michael is charged with delivering unique and innovative solutions catered to client needs that will drive incremental revenue. Within this role, Michael utilizes Aspire’s research skill set to design and implement research solutions focusing on fan research, creating ticket packaging and pricing models, and developing Ticket Marketing, Sales, and Service plans for partners within numerous sports codes. Since joining Aspire, Michael has led the Strategic Consulting and Research team with conducting services for over 70 best-of-brand partners in five countries across three continents. 
His strategic planning, research, and yield management work for Aspire includes working with The Open, West Ham United, National Rugby League, Tijuana Xolos, Canadian Football League, University of Oregon, Lancashire County Cricket Club, and Georgia Tech.
Before joining Aspire, Michael was the Research and Innovation Coordinator at Game Day Communications where he implemented research design and benchmarking methodologies to address client needs. He has presented research on fan identification at NCAA Division II institutions at the Sport Marketing Association Conference and has worked on diverse research initiatives across a wide range of the sport industry including the Arnold Palmer Invitational, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Turnkey Sports and Entertainment, the Flying Pig Marathon, and the University of Central Florida Athletics Association. His work has involved ticket price benchmarking, market feasibility, stadium amenity feasibility, fan identification studies, as well as sponsorship prospecting.
Michael received his bachelor’s in Sport Business from the Haile/US Bank College of Business at Northern Kentucky University and received his MBA and Master’s in Sport Business Management from the DeVos Sport Business Management Program at the University of Central Florida.
