Aspire In The Community

Mary “May” Mullin

The Aspire Group’s Founder, Chairman and CEO, Dr. Bernie Mullin, is a firm believer in dedicating time and resources to making the world a better place. This belief was heavily instilled in him as a young boy growing up in Liverpool, England by his mother, Mary “May” Mullin. As a result, Aspire’s leaders have served on many philanthropic boards, including: YMCA, Make A Wish Foundation, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Children’s Harbour of South Florida, 49ers Foundation and the Children’s Village in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Consequently under Bernie’s leadership, The Aspire Group makes it a priority for all our staff to take time to give back to the communities in which we work all over the globe. We dedicate each effort in honor of the matriarch of our Founder’s Family – May Mullin. With over 200 employees, operating in 30 cities in 7 countries on 3 continents, Aspire is able to positively impact many philanthropic organizations that improve the quality of life for thousands of marginalized individuals, giving them hope for their futures.

“As a socially responsible and community involved company, it is Aspire’s duty to give back on a year round basis. We are fortunate enough to have a global presence where we can make an impact all over the world. In this respect, Aspire believes in the philosophy espoused by the famous British Statesman Winston Churchill ‘We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”

– Dr. Bernie Mullin, Chairman & CEO

Interfaith Outreach Home (IOH)

Interfaith Outreach Home was founded to provide a stable living environment while strengthening homeless families through training and personal development. The mission of IOH is to combat homelessness by providing transitional housing and a range of holistic services to homeless families in order to help them become economically and emotionally self-sufficient members of the larger community.

The Aspire Group’s provides financial support to IOH that fully supports one family with housing, life skills training, mental health counseling, after-school tutoring, child care, summer camp & enrichment programs, mandatory savings program, transportation assistance, employment assistance and food & household supplies as necessary. During the 2014 Holiday Season, many members of The Aspire Group Corporate Office & US National Sales Center (NSC) staff spent a day with the families of IOH, providing the children with gifts, assisting the children in picking out a gift for their parents, then hosting a pizza party and playing games.
