ATLANTA – (September 20, 2011) – The Aspire Group is pleased to announce that the Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) located on campus at the Georgia Institute of Technology has generated over three million dollars in new ticket revenue and related donations for the athletic department since inception.

“The Aspire Group continues to raise their standards of performance and prove to be an invaluable asset to the Georgia Tech Athletic Association,” said Dan Radakovich, Director of Athletics for Georgia Tech. “Our recent partnership extension ensures that Yellow Jacket fans will continue to benefit from the personalized service that The Aspire Group is able to provide.”

Distinguished as the first ticket sales outsourcing in collegiate athletics, The Aspire Group started its operation at Georgia Tech in May 2009 in Alexander Memorial Coliseum. The FRMC was relocated to Bobby Dodd Stadium in February 2011 as construction started for the highly anticipated $45 million Hank McCamish Pavilion.

The Aspire Group’s sales staff is led by former Georgia Tech offensive lineman, A.J. Smith. Starting as a sales consultant in October 2009, Smith quickly proved himself to be the top revenue producer in the Georgia Tech FRMC. He was promoted to manager of the Center in early 2011. In addition to training and developing a staff of twelve, A.J. is responsible for ensuring a superb customer experience on ticket sales and service calls.

“Understanding the culture of the Georgia Tech fan base and athletic program first hand has played a part in our success thus far at the Georgia Tech FRMC,” said A.J. Smith manager of Georgia Tech Fan Relationship Management Center. “As manager of the Center, my goal is to instill that culture and passion for the program while developing the sales consultants to their peak performance.”
