Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Steve is responsible for sales and marketing of all of The Aspire Group services, especially consulting support and Fan Relationship Management Centers worldwide.

He has over 20 years sales & marketing, customer service and strategic planning experience in the fast-moving and extremely competitive wireless telecommunications industry.  He has an outstanding global executive career having worked in more than a dozen countries – including assignments in USA, England, Germany, Brazil, Peru, and China – and has consequently seen the “good, bad and ugly” up-close, when it comes to customer sales and service.

Most recently, Steve was Global Marketing Director for Nokia, responsible for sales and maximizing revenue with Nokia’s largest customers.  He previously held several marketing leadership positions at AT&T and other service providers, including CMO.  He has developed and executed sales and marketing plans for service/content providers at all lifecycle stages and has notable experience in startup and turnaround situations.  He has extensive database marketing (CRM) experience aimed at acquisition, retention and cross-sell/upsell of customers via direct marketing programs and telesales. All of these skills and experiences lie at the heart of The Aspire Group’s unique “Next-Practice” services designed to keep our clients ahead of the competition.

Previously he had a 3 year stint as Finance Director in a highly volatile market with a financially-troubled division, which helped him develop a keen eye in establishing accountability systems, plus measuring and achieving the appropriate ROI for sales/marketing programs and capital investments.

Steve has an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University.  He is active in several sports and enjoys travel. He and his wife Stephanie reside in Atlanta, Georgia with their three children, Patrick (17), Kieran (15) and Aleksee (10).
