The Princeton University Department of Athletics, as part of its commitment to providing the best possible fan experience at all of its athletic venues, has partnered with The Aspire Group, a global leader with a proven history of success in this area.

Aspire will play a major role in Princeton’s efforts to promote fan engagement, grow attendance and enhance the game-day experience at home athletic contests.

“We are excited to work with The Aspire Group as we look to further showcase the tremendous talents of our Princeton student-athletes and coaches to our Princeton fans and community partners,” stated Ford Family Director of Athletics, Mollie Marcoux ’91.

Aspire will develop an in-depth ticket marketing, sales and service plan complete with fan research, ticket pricing workshops and execution strategies. The Aspire Group’s Strategic Consulting and Research team will provide these services for Princeton after having conducted similar consulting services for other universities.

“We are excited to welcome Princeton University to The Aspire Group family,” stated Bill Duffy, Aspire’s CEO. “As a Princeton alum, I personally am thrilled to work with my alma mater to help grow its athletic brand, bring new fans to its venues and provide everyone who comes to see the Tigers with the best possible experience, one that will make them want to come back again and again.”

The implementation of this project will take place in three phases. The first phase will aim to understand the current state of Princeton’s ticket marketing, sales, and service strategy and conduct fan research in order to gain a 360-degree view of its current fans. The second phase will target new markets and customer offerings for the Princeton Tigers. In the final phase, Aspire will concentrate on helping Princeton drive action from the research that was conducted throughout the previous phases.

The goal of this partnership is to give Princeton insight in order to make key decisions that will ultimately lead to increased fan attachment to the Tiger brand as well as increased ticketing solutions.
