Forms second Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) in Tennessee

The Middle Tennessee athletic department has reached an agreement with the Atlanta- based The Aspire Group to market and sell tickets for football, basketball and other intercollegiate sports sponsored by the Blue Raiders. The Aspire Group will construct an on-campus Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) with a manager, three sales consultants and an intern dedicated to maximizing ticket sales revenue and growing attendance through superb customer relationships.

The Aspire Group is the global leader in ticket marketing, sales and service specializing in revenue enhancement for universities and sports organizations worldwide by providing an unparalleled customer service experience for fans on ticket sales and service calls through their FRMCs.

“We are looking at new approaches to everything we do in preparing for our first year in Conference USA,” said Director of Athletics Chris Massaro. “The first priority is servicing our customers in a more efficient manner and we feel Aspire can help us do that.
“We felt there was a segment of business we were missing, and Aspire has been successful with developing new business with their partnerships at other Universities. We are excited to have them on board and can’t wait for them to get started.”

The partnership with Middle Tennessee is Aspires 26th collegiate partnership since starting the trend of outsourcing collegiate ticketing with Georgia Tech in 2009.

“The Aspire Group is looking forward to working with MTSU Athletics to improve the overall fan experience for the Blue Raiders and local community,”  said Bill Fagan, Aspire’s Sr. Vice President & General Manager of Fan Relationship Management.

The new MTSU FRMC Manager is Rob Titterington who makes his way from Rutgers University. Rob started at Aspire back in 2010 as a Georgia Tech Sales Consultant before becoming the FRMC Manager at Rutgers.

“With our attractive 2013 home schedule, coming off an 8-4 season, and entry into Conference USA we felt this was the right time to make an aggressive move like this,” added Massaro.
