Coastal Carolina Athletics partners with The Aspire Group

(ATLANTA, GA) – The Aspire Sport Marketing Group announced a multi-year partnership with Coastal Carolina University Athletics, the 2016 NCAA College World Series Champions.

“Aspire is excited to partner with Coastal Carolina in their journey into the Sun Belt Conference and FBS football. We feel a great responsibility in creating a home field advantage in the expanded Brooks Stadium,” said Bill Fagan, COO of The Aspire Group. “This is a watershed time for Coastal Carolina Athletics, and we can’t wait to support the program and the entire Chanticleer community.”

Via an agreement with the University’s Chanticleer Athletic Foundation, Aspire will provide outsourced ticket marketing, sales and service support. The on-campus Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMCSM) will be responsible for selling all ticketed sports as well as providing Chanticleer fans with the best-in-industry customer service.

“The Aspire Group has demonstrated proven results for its collegiate clients and we are excited about joining forces to enhance our fan base and ticket marketing efforts,” said Matt Hogue, Coastal Carolina University Director of Athletics. “The partnership syncs well with our move to the NCAA FBS status and recent acceptance into the Sun Belt Conference.”

CJ Wiatr, Regional VP of Fan Relationship Management, will serve as the liaison between Aspire and Coastal Carolina Athletics. Wiatr oversees 16 of Aspire’s 32 FRMCs including Georgia Tech, the University of Connecticut and the University of Kansas.

Coastal Carolina is Aspire’s 11th client of 2017. In 2016, Aspire added 32 new partners to the portfolio of over 190 professional and collegiate properties with over $200 million in ticket and related donation revenue generated globally.
