On June 1st, the annual TheStadiumBusiness Awards will take place in Madrid, Spain and this year LCCC and The Aspire Group are shortlisted as a finalist in the Sales & Marketing category based on their work together on Ticket Marketing, Sales and Service Planning for the 2015 season.

In 2014, LCCC partnered with Aspire to conduct a ticket pricing/ yield management workshop and used those results to develop a comprehensive Ticket Marketing, Sales and Service (TiMSS) plan for the upcoming 2015 International fixtures.

Aspire rescaled the ground based on research that revealed several fan interest segments, then they priced and packaged these sections accordingly.

Daniel Gidney, Chief Executive at Lancashire County Cricket Club, which has also been shortlisted in two other categories, said: “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted in the sales and marketing category for such a prestigious industry award, and is testament to the insight, planning and successful delivery of the 2015 ticketing strategy that we worked closely with Aspire on.”

“The partnership between LCCC and Aspire made sure the 2015 International fixtures were a success even before a ball was bowled,” stated Jamie Clarke, Aspire’s Director of UK National Sales & Service Center. “The team comprising of both current LCCC staff and Aspire personnel were able to implement the Ticket Marketing, Sales and Service plan and engage with fans on a new level which saw them attend in such high numbers for games.”

“We have enjoyed a long partnership with LCCC and look forward to continue to work with them for both International and Domestic cricket over the coming years,” concluded Clarke.
